Pine Mountain Trail Iron Braid 23-Miler Test your limits! Join us on our group hike where we will complete the whole 23 miles of the Pine Mountain Trail. We will begin our journey at the Country Store parking lot and end at the WJSP TV Tower parking lot. We will have snack and water stations set up along the route. A delicious lunch will be waiting for you at the halfway point. After we relax and refuel, we will then finish up the second half. You will receive a  t-shirt for completing the Pine Mountain Trail and a shuttle will take you back to your vehicle. A shuttle will also be available for those that don't want to continue on.

This educational and fun event takes place at Port Columbus on Friday, March 23rd - Sunday, March 25th, with live entertainment, family activities, cannon firings and civil war re-enactors. On Friday, March 23rd at 7:00 PM, attendees can enjoy “An Evening with The Generals”, a first person interpretation of the preeminent General Grant and General Lee. They will discuss their joint army and navy operations during The Civil War. This event is free and open to the public. We are joining FDR State Park for their annual Fool's Walk. This event is open to everyone. We will hike the whole twenty-three miles of the Pine Mountain Trail. The hike will begin at sunrise and end at dinnertime. You will definitely deserve a special dinner after. They will have a shuttle available at the halfway point if you've had enough. There will be short breaks throughout the day and a lunch break. FDR State Park will be providing shirt.
